You can monitor your margin usage and available free margin directly in the MT5 platform.
Where to Find Margin Details
Open MT5.
Go to the bottom panel and click on the Terminal window (or press Ctrl+T).
Select the Trade tab.
You’ll see real-time values for:
Balance – total account balance.
Equity – balance plus/minus open trade P/L.
Margin – margin currently used.
Free Margin – available margin for new positions.
Margin Level (%) – ratio of equity to margin.
Note: Monitoring free margin is important to avoid margin calls or stop-outs when trading with leverage.
